VouchAlgarve (“we”, “us”, “the platform”) is a community-powered business directory serving the Algarve region of Portugal. It is operated by an individual based in Portugal.
The platform allows members of the public to add business listings, submit vouches (recommendations or concerns) and write reviews. By using VouchAlgarve you agree to these terms.
All reviews, vouches and ratings on VouchAlgarve represent the personal opinions and experiences of the individual community members who submitted them. They do not represent the views of VouchAlgarve.
VouchAlgarve does not verify the accuracy of reviews or vouches. We are not responsible for the content of user-submitted reviews. Reviews should be treated as personal opinions, not verified statements of fact.
If you rely on information from VouchAlgarve when choosing a business, you do so at your own discretion. We strongly recommend conducting your own due diligence before engaging any service provider.
Anyone may add a business to VouchAlgarve. By submitting a listing you confirm that:
We reserve the right to remove or edit any listing at our discretion, including listings that contain inaccurate information, are duplicates, or relate to businesses that have permanently closed.
By submitting a review or vouch you confirm that:
Reviews cannot be edited after submission. If you wish to change your review, you may delete it and submit a new one. This policy exists to protect the integrity of the platform and ensure that reviews reflect genuine, unmodified experiences.
One review per business per account. Each user may submit one review per business listing. Duplicate reviews may be removed without notice.
We reserve the right to remove any review or vouch that we reasonably believe violates these terms, without notice.
If you are the owner or authorised representative of a listed business, you may claim your listing free of charge. Claiming your listing allows you to update your business details and respond to reviews.
Negative reviews are not grounds for listing removal. VouchAlgarve is a community platform and the presence of negative reviews does not constitute harm by us.
We will investigate and may remove content if you report a review that:
To request a review investigation, email contact@vouchalgarve.com with the business name, the specific review and the grounds for your request. We will respond within 5 business days.
A listing may be removed upon request if:
We will not remove a listing solely because a business has received negative community feedback. To request removal email contact@vouchalgarve.com.
VouchAlgarve Pro is a paid subscription offering enhanced listing features including featured placement, photo uploads and a direct enquiry button. Two billing options are available:
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with no further charges. Annual subscriptions may be cancelled to prevent renewal but no refund is provided for the remaining period. No refunds are provided for partial months on monthly plans.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VouchAlgarve shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:
We collect minimal data. When you sign in we store your email address to verify your identity for vouching and reviewing purposes. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
Business listing information submitted by users is publicly visible. If you wish to have your personal data removed, email contact@vouchalgarve.com.
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
